FAM contacted us with a special request. They manufacture cutting machines for the food industry. Their machines cut just about any food in any shape. We started out by photographing the cheese range. The challenge here was to make the piles of cheese look natural but at the same time, show off how precise and sharp the machine can cut the food. In post-production we cut out the background and kept the original shadow so the piles work on any background they are photoshopped into.
