Guidoreste

While traveling through Tuscany in September, I stumbled upon a natural winemaker in the small village near my agriturismo. The owners mentioned their grape harvest was taking place just a few days later, giving me the ultimate opportunity as a reportage photographer. Friends and family gathered to pick the grapes, followed by a lavish three-course Italian pranzo with wine flowing freely. It easily became my favorite holiday experience.

I documented the entire harvest across the rolling Tuscan hills, capturing the journey of the grapes straight to the cellar. Inside, I photographed the traditional process of juice being extracted using a manual wooden press. My goal was to record the raw, authentic flow of the day as it unfolded naturally.

Alongside the hard work, I focused heavily on the warm atmosphere of the outdoor lunch among the vines. The images capture genuine Italian hospitality, shared laughter, and a deep connection to local craft.
